Entruidos - The Bestiary, solo show at Ó!Galeria.

"The north of Portugal holds a beautiful, centuries long tradition: People dress up to celebrate the end of Winter and the beginning of Spring. According to traditional beliefs, spirits also celebrate together with the people, purging the Winter and helping to make lands more generous. Invisible to the Human eye, they take the shapes of animal demons and roam through the villages in a colourful harvest festival."
